Light-Sport Aircraft’s Wikipedia page is a well-rounded over view of the definitions, types of crafts, regulations, and certifications required for the sport.  While the industry is largely self-regulated the freedom to fly comes with the personal responsibility to observe local, state, and Federal rules and regulations; Light-Sport Aircraft’s Wikipedia page offers the user a chance to explore some of those aspects of the sport.  The various key words highlighted within the text provide well quality links to detailed information offering a comprehensive start point to learn about the Sport .  The PDF of the FAA’s list of Light Sport Aircraft and the table imminently below are the highlights of the page.  This piece offers a wide range of information regarding various designs, manufacturer, engine, maximum range, etc. The only thing missing on the Wikipedia page is information regarding the history of the sport; though, through the various links you do receive some history of the Light-Sport Aircraft.
