Poisoning with narcotic and psychotropic drugs caused the hospitalization of 19 people in Astrakhan.

Almost two dozen patients with symptoms of poisoning by prohibited substances were brought by ambulance to City Clinical Hospital No. 3 named after S. M. Kirov on Friday through Monday. The regional Ministry of Health reported this on its Telegram channel.

“All necessary emergency assistance was provided immediately during the delivery of patients in intensive care vehicles and ambulances. Treatment of patients continues,” the department reported.

Two people managed to be discharged after recovery. The condition of 11 patients is assessed as moderate, and another six as severe.
