2.7 million Russians took part in the online marathon FinHealthy Lifestyle Fest 2023 | November 21, 2023

The event, organized by the Ministry of Finance and the project of the Research Institute of the Ministry of Finance of Russia “My Finance.rf”, became the main event within the framework of the traditional Financial Literacy Weeks.

“The idea of the festival is to show how to apply knowledge about finance in practice to the benefit of yourself and your loved ones, to help people understand how to maintain emotional and financial stability, how to use modern financial instruments and manage a personal budget,” noted the Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Pavel Kadochnikov.

The main message of this year’s FinHealthy Lifestyle Fest is that knowledge and skills should not remain theory, they need to be used in practice.

“Knowing how to act correctly and following these rules in reality are two different things. For example, most people know that before taking out a loan from a bank, they need to soberly assess their financial burden. At the same time, the number of borrowers with three or more loans continues to increase. The state’s task is to provide knowledge and help citizens build a comfortable financial route to achieve their goals,” said the head of the NIFI project Ministry of Finance Russia “Myfinance.rf” Mikhail Sergeychik.

“FinHealthy Lifestyle Fest-2023” was held from November 7 to 10 on the portal moifinansy.rf, page “My finances” in In contact with and in Telegram channel “FinHealthy Lifestyle Expert” Each day of the marathon was dedicated to a separate topic. At first the participants met with the psychology of money, then learned how to competently build financial plans and follow them. The last two days of the marathon were dedicated to the first steps in investing and how to avoid falling into the trap of financial scammers.

The continuation of the “FinHealthy Lifestyle Fest” will be offline lectures, which will be held in all regions of the country until the end of November. The key topic of the lectures is myths about financial literacy. Is budgeting a waste of time? Is it possible to get loans and not pay? Is tax deduction difficult and time-consuming? Anyone can dispel these and many other stereotypes that interfere with keeping finances in balance.

Detailed information about the date, time and location of lectures for each region will be available on the website moifinance.rf and on the “My Finance” pages on social networks.
