Experts from the job search portal SuperJob. ru in a survey conducted in November, they found that 59% of employed Russians hope that next year will bring them a long-awaited salary increase.

At the same time, Russian residents with relatively good incomes, receiving more than 80 thousand rubles per month, are more likely to expect an increase in wages.

More often, relatively young workers under the age of 35 rely on the generosity of employers – 62% of the total number of respondents expecting a salary increase.

The survey data also shows that men more often than women expect a salary increase in 2024 – 61% and 56% of respondents, respectively.

“Only 6% admitted that they do not expect anything from work next year,” says the information on the portal.
