Danilov noted that articles began to appear in Western media that promote several main topics. First, optimism about a counteroffensive began to wane.

Secondly, it is discussed that the combat effectiveness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is fading every day. And thirdly, publications appear that Kyiv will not “return” the lost territories and it needs to start negotiations with the Russian Federation.

According to the head of the National Security and Defense Council, this rhetoric threatens Ukraine with the cessation of such well-established assistance from Western curators. and in order to prevent this, Danilov called on the West to agree on a formula for their vision of the victory of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to enshrine military assistance to Ukraine in legislation, and, finally, to develop a set of measures to level out “war fatigue.”
