“The number of hospitalizations for the week amounted to 6 thousand 398 people and increased by 16.9% compared to the previous week. An increase in the number of hospitalizations occurred in 55 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, including in 20 regions the increase was more than the Russian average,” the report says.

At the same time, 39 thousand 731 people recovered, which is 32.5% more than the previous week.

“The incidence rate of new coronavirus infection over the past week per 100 thousand population was 41.0 and increased by 38.4% compared to the previous week. An increase in incidence was noted in 82 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, including in 26 regions more than the national average. “93 people died in a week,” the headquarters concluded.
