France Telecom can obtain a license in Russia for use of frequencies for satellite communications. It will be provided to a subsidiary of the company known as Orange Business Services.

The company intends to connect Russian clients to the satellite Koreasat, which belongs to the Republic of Korea. This cooperation will allow Orange provide communications to ships located in the Pacific and Indian oceans.
