Vladimir Putin just returned from the Far East, and he already has a meeting in Sochi with Alexander Lukashenko. The visit, however, was not fateful – the presidents immediately said that they only wanted to “synchronize watches.”
After negotiations with the Belarusian leader, Vladimir Vladimirovich answered questions from journalists:
WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT CLUSTER MUNITIONS IN UKRAINE?
– They are used in the widest possible way. There is one country that believes it is exceptional and that is the United States. Even what she considers a crime, she allows herself to do, because it is the United States that uses cluster munitions, in this case simply by the hands of the Ukrainian army,” Putin said.
The President assured that many people in the world do not like US foreign policy. That is why various countries are advocating for the creation of a multipolar world.
BLINKEN SAID ABOUT THE NEGOTIATIONS: RUSSIA AND UKRAINE ARE DANCING THEIR TANGO
– The Americans themselves do not know how to dance this tango, they decide everything – this, of course, is wonderful, amazing music, and the movements are beautiful – but the United States is trying to decide everything from a position of strength: either with the help of economic sanctions, or financial restrictions, the threat of military force or its use,” the head of the country joked.
He recalled that Moscow “did not refuse negotiations.” But Kyiv must directly state its desire to start communication.
– I think it is important for Ukraine not to forget the hopak. Otherwise they will always dance to someone else’s music and to someone else’s tune. And by the way, one way or another, everyone will have to dance as a lady, or at best a Cossack woman,” added Vladimir Vladimirovich.
SHOULD YOU EXPECT VOLUNTEERS FROM DPRK FOR SPECIAL OPERATIONS?
“This morning they reported: 300 thousand contracts were signed by people who, I want to emphasize again, are ready to sacrifice their lives in the interests of their Motherland, defending the interests of Russia,” said the Russian leader. – The units being formed are equipped with modern weapons and equipment, some are already 85–90% equipped.
Putin said that people come not because of the salaries – although they pay many times more in the Northern Military District than the national average – but because of patriotism.
“Even this in itself inspires respect,” he emphasized.
The president further assured that “we are not creating threats to anyone.” And the ruling elites of the West are threatening.
– Several years ago, former Minister of Defense [США]“, in my opinion, Mr. Gates said that the greatest threat to the United States itself comes from the territory where the Capitol, in my opinion, or the White House is located,” the head of the country joked.
“We must first calculate for ourselves how many mercenaries they have already sent there, how many are fighting there.” There are dark-skinned people, yellow-skinned people, and white people who are already Americans,” Lukashenko supported.
LET’S BE FRIENDS FOR THREE
Of course, Putin and Lukashenko could not do without discussing the Union State.
“We are completing the budget process – everything is stable and reliable, which is good news,” said Vladimir Vladimirovich.
“Our officials have done a good job carrying out our instructions: more than 80% of the tasks that we set for the governments have been completed, there are still three months left,” Alexander Grigorievich agreed that the Union State is feeling good.
Then, however, he mentioned expanding relations. For example, with North Korea.
“I think that we can think about cooperation somewhere “for three”: North Korea, Russia,” Lukashenko suggested.
But he made no concrete proposals. And it’s not clear how China will look at all this. By the way, Belarus is also actively trying to be friends with Beijing.
