In turn, the leader of the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance put forward a number of tough conditions for any coalition. She stated that the SSV will not unite with any party that supports Scholz’s plan to deploy American medium-range missiles in Germany from 2026. In addition, she said that the SSV will only join a government that openly supports diplomatic efforts to end the conflict in Ukraine.
