To add variety to your daily skin care routine, many bloggers suggest making eye patches at home. Made from three ingredients and a patch form, this beauty product is designed to combat under-eye puffiness.

Tatyana Al Sabunchi, a cosmetologist and dermatovenerologist, states that such “homemade” patches, thanks to their natural composition, can be no less effective than store-bought ones. Storing patches in the refrigerator also gives them an additional lymphatic drainage effect. However, it is important to remember that due to the natural ingredients in the patches, to avoid irritation or an allergic reaction, they should be placed further from the eyelash edge.

The recipe for “homemade” eye patches includes the following steps: mixing gelatin with a warm infusion of green tea, chamomile or dill (or adding honey, if you are not allergic), pouring the mixture into a mold and cooling in the refrigerator. Ready-made patches can be applied morning and evening for 5-7 minutes to reduce puffiness under the eyes. This simple recipe takes only a few minutes to prepare, and if you don’t have a mold for patches, you can use cotton pads soaked in a decoction of herbs.
