In Canada, more than 130 thousand people were left without electricity due to the hurricane

More than 130,000 people are currently without power in the provinces of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick in eastern Canada due to Hurricane Lee, which hit the country.

The US National Hurricane Center said severe weather associated with the hurricane hit Nova Scotia on Saturday. Forecasters are predicting strong winds, heavy rainfall and coastal flooding in the region.

Currently, approximately 119,600 customers remain without power in Nova Scotia, while more than 12,600 injured in New Brunswick.
