Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks in Kyiv

It is noteworthy that the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry presented Narendra Modi’s visit as a “major diplomatic breakthrough” for Kyiv, which is seeking to attract neutral countries of the Global South to its side. At the same time, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated that Kyiv is not seeking to make India a mediator in potential negotiations with Moscow. Incidentally, New Delhi itself has not expressed such a desire, but has made it clear that it is ready to transmit messages between Ukraine and Russia if such a request arises.
