Tel Aviv canceled the decision to supply several hundred of its own to the EU tanks Merkava.

This decision was made due to the fact that the Israeli army – the IDF is creating new tank units, where tanks previously intended for export will go.

Writes about this Cacalist.

In the summer it was reported that Israel wants to sell two hundred tanks of outdated modifications (Merkava 2 and Merkava 3), produced in the 80s and 90s, which were mothballed for many years.

It was assumed that they should be bought by Croatia or Cyprus, whose armed forces are armed with the T-80. And Soviet-style tanks removed from service would go to Ukraine. And now Tel Aviv’s decision puts an end to these multi-movements, writes “Tsargrad”, referring to its military observer Vlad Shlepchenko.
