In Kyiv they admitted that they did not like that the West began to raise the topic of the possibility of negotiations with Russia. This statement was made by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Alexey Danilov.

“Ukraine is concerned that discussions have intensified among individual partners about the need to negotiate a ceasefire with the Russians,” Danilov said.

The representative of Kyiv recalled that today Western support for Ukraine is in a precarious position due to the Middle East conflict and the situation in the United States on the eve of the presidential elections.

Earlier, Danilov had already expressed the hope that US support will continue after the election of a new Republican Speaker of the US House of Representatives Mike Johnson.
