The most important part of the visit Kim Jong-un to the Vostochny cosmodrome – negotiation With Vladimir Putin – went behind closed doors. But before that, Kim Jong-un managed to say on camera that he had many questions to discuss with Vladimir Putin – politics, economics, improving the lives of people.
But the informal parts of the visit were not hidden.

WHOSE LIMOUSINE IS BETTER?
For example, Comrade Kim was so interested in Putin’s Aurus that he even climbed into the cabin, into the passenger seat. The display of the presidential limousine was not included in the program, so let’s hope that the head of the DPRK did not spy any secrets.
By the way, at the WEF plenary, Vladimir Vladimirovich mentioned that “auruses” could become noticeably cheaper if they start being made in large quantities.
But in general, politicians drove around the cosmodrome in a Mercedes minibus. By the way, Comrade Kim also got from his armored train to the launch pad in a Mercedes – he has a super-protected Pullman.
The German manufacturer officially stated that it does not know how the car got into the DPRK. Due to sanctions, such deliveries are prohibited. Although each car is built to special order and costs like a cast-iron bridge. Apparently, someone at the automaker simply doesn’t want to tell the inconvenient truth: profit exceeds political restrictions.

Dumplings with crab and sturgeon with potatoes
And Comrade Kim’s trip to the cosmodrome ended with a gala dinner. Vladimir Vladimirovich made a toast and then raised a glass of red. This time cabernet sauvignon, costing from 2000 rubles.
– There is a proverb in Korea: “new clothes are good, but old friends are good.” And among our people they say: “an old friend is better than two new ones.” These folk wisdom are fully applicable to modern relations between our countries. I would like to propose a toast to the further strengthening of friendship and cooperation between our countries – between the Russian Federation and the DPRK, to the well-being and prosperity of our peoples, to the health of Comrade Chairman and everyone present! – Putin said.
There were many Far Eastern delicacies at the reception. The full menu includes:
* Duck salad with figs and nectarine.
* Dumplings with Kamchatka crab.
* Grass carp ear.
* Sea buckthorn sorbet
* Sturgeon with mushrooms and potatoes or
Entrecote of marbled beef with baked vegetables
* Taiga lingonberries with pine nuts and condensed milk.
Comrade Kim liked the dishes, so he himself made an equally warm toast.
– We are confident that the Russian army and people will certainly win a great victory in the sacred struggle to punish the gathering of evil that claims hegemony and feeds the expansionist illusion, and to create a stable environment for development. In conclusion, I would like to express my confidence that our current visit will serve as an important moment in the further development of the transformation of traditional Russian-Korean relations into unbreakable strategic cooperation,” said the DPRK leader.

THE SANCTIONS WILL STAY
Russia is participating in UN sanctions imposed on North Korea over nuclear weapons testing. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov directly stated that we will not refuse to implement the decisions of the UN Security Council.
– But we will develop relations with our close neighbor, despite any reproaches or reservations. So that this corresponds to the interests of our two states. This should not bother anyone, because we are cooperating for the sake of the prosperity of our two countries,” Peskov emphasized.
UN sanctions include:
* Ban on the supply of technologies related to nuclear development.
* The right of all UN member states to inspect ships going to the DPRK and destroy any technology for military development.
* Ban on the export of gold, vanadium, titanium, rare and rare earth metals from North Korea. The export of North Korean coal and iron for profit is also prohibited.
