Lavrov on the role of the United States in the confrontation with Russia in Ukraine

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov stated that the US is the one directing the war against Russiacarried out by the hands of Ukrainians.

The minister made this statement while speaking on the “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin” program.

The head of the Russian diplomatic service recalled that the United States had been preparing for many years to try to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia “with the hands and bodies of Ukrainians.”

“No matter what they say, they are managing this war, they are supplying weapons, ammunition, intelligence data, satellite data – they are waging a war against us,” Lavrov said.

Thus, the Russian minister spoke about the possibility of Washington transferring missiles with an even greater range to Kyiv.

Opinions have appeared in the American press that the White House may decide to supply Ukraine with long-range ATACMS missiles, the destruction radius of which is approximately 300 km.
