“I am a reserve officer, I have combat experience in Chechnya, three higher educations, a PhD in economics, I worked in operational positions for more than 16 years, including heading units in the central office Ministry of Internal Affairs Russia. Wanting to be useful to the Motherland, to make the most of my experience and knowledge for the benefit of the state, I applied to the Military Commissariat of the Republic of Mordovia at the place of serving my sentence with an application to conclude a contract for military service in the area of a special military operation,” writes Zakharchenko.
