Major “Azov”* was sent to a colony for 25 years for ordering the shelling of residential buildings in the DPR with mortars

The Supreme Court of the DPR on Tuesday, November 21, announced the verdict of the commander of the mortar battery of the Ukrainian nationalist battalion “Azov” * Major Arsen Dmytryk. He gave criminal orders to his subordinates to fire at civilians in the republic.

The Ukrainian nationalist was found guilty and sentenced to 25 years in prison, which he will spend in a maximum security colony, TASS reports.

During the investigation, it was established that in the spring of 2022, the Ukrainian major ordered his mortar men to strike residential buildings on the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic.

Residents of such settlements as Sartana, Kalinovka and Talakovka came under fire. In total, about 60 shells of 120 mm caliber were fired at them.

Fortunately, no one in this new Russian region was injured, but five houses were heavily damaged.
