Figure skater Margarita Drobyazko didn’t want to talk about depriving her Lithuanian citizenship.

“Sorry, I’m not commenting on this situation yet,” said Drobyazko, who quotes Gazeta.Ru.
This question was asked to the athlete on September 15, when the cancellation of her Lithuanian citizenship was only in the plans of the government of this country. Later it became known that Margarita Drobyazko and her husband had Lithuanian citizenship Povilasa Vanagasa after all, they were taken away by order of the President of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda.
The launch of the procedure for revoking Drobyazko’s citizenship became known in June of this year.
The other day, President Gitanas Nausėda promised journalists that he would take away Drobiazko’s Lithuanian citizenship in the near future, saying that Drobiazko wants to “carry the light of culture and goodness in the skin of an aggressor.” Today the Lithuanian leader fulfilled his promise regarding Drobyazko.
