20 year old Marine Oleg Kuznetsov was buried on June 27, 2022 in his hometown of Chelyabinsk, and on the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day, his mother was given the Order of Courage, which was posthumously awarded to her son.

From a young age, Oleg dreamed of serving in the navy – after the “urgent” he signed a contract. The last time he spoke to his mother was February 22, 2022. He warned my mother that she would be without contact for a long time and told her not to worry.
Half a month later she learned that Oleg had died.
“I don’t even know how and when the exchange took place. Either they bought it or exchanged it, but my son still returned home. In a zinc coffin,” Tsargrad quotes the inconsolable mother.
He was a fighter in the 40th separate Krasnodar-Harbin Marine Brigade of the Red Banner Pacific Fleet.
The relatives asked the soldiers to open the “zinc” to make sure whether Oleg was in the coffin. Kuznetsov had five bayonet wounds on his body, his ribs and jaw were broken. The body was perfectly preserved and was buried in an open coffin. Judging by his wounds, the hero was shell-shocked, but resisted and did not surrender…
