The court arrested RUDN associate professor Ekdobo Raymond Ovvigho on charges of organizing fictitious marriages. According to the investigation, the teacher and a group of accomplices arranged fictitious marriages for foreigners so that they could obtain residence permits in Russia. Ovvigho took from 60 to 150 thousand rubles for his services. He faces up to seven years in prison.
