The price of AI-95 and AI-92 on the SPIMEX exchange fell on August 16 by 0.2% and 0.7%, to 72 thousand and 56.4 thousand rubles per ton, respectively. Exchange quotes for AI-95 had been growing continuously since June, but since August the growth has practically stopped, which was facilitated by an increase in fuel sales by oil companies. In addition, as Kommersant reported, last week Belarusian refineries also returned to supplying AI-95 and AI-100 gasoline to the Russian Federation (see Kommersant of August 15).
