Journalist of the portal 74.ru Artyom Krasnov, warned of certain shortcomings of this initiative. Firstly, with the abolition of compulsory insurance, the number of road accidents may increase, where honest drivers find themselves faced with the problem of restoring their car after a collision. Compulsory insurance policies are mainly required by young and inexperienced drivers, as well as those who often experience accidents, the journalist notes.
Let us remind you that compulsory civil liability insurance (MTPL) covers damage caused to other road users if they become victims of an accident. One of the main reasons for the decline in demand for compulsory motor insurance was the inconvenience of organizing technical inspections for motorists.
