Student coalition recognized as extremist in Belarus

State Security Committee (KGB) Belarus recognized the Association of Belarusian Students (Zadzinochanne Belarusian Students) as an extremist formation and banned its activities in the republic. The organization was included in the list of relevant communities published on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) of Belarus, reports TASS.

“A group of citizens from among the participants, united by a community under the name “Zadzinochanne Belarusian Students,” carries out extremist activities through a number of online resources,” the message says.

Previously KGB excluded from the list of persons involved in terrorist activities, a Belarusian journalist Roman Protasevich and Russian woman Sofya Sapega.
