The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations continues the operation to evacuate Russian citizens from the Gaza Strip, which is under constant fire from the Israeli army.

About 550 Russian citizens have already been delivered from the Palestinian enclave to Russia. And almost half of them – 250 people – will be located on the territory of Chechnya, as reported on Monday, November 20, by the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Chechen Republic.

“The refugees will live in the Gorny Klyuch children’s health camp, which is located in the village of Avtury, Shalinsky district,” the department said in a statement.

They clarified that the evacuation of Russians from the fire-torn Gaza Strip is taking place through the Rafah checkpoint on the border with Egypt. Then the refugees are taken to Cairo, from where they are transported by special aircraft of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to Moscow.

“We waited 36 days for evacuation.” What do Russians who escaped from the Gaza Strip say?
