According to her, among cosmetologists there is even a concept of “sleep wrinkles.”
The specialist explained to Lenta.ru that an incorrect sleeping position, as well as an inappropriate pillow, provokes stagnation of lymph, which worsens the condition of the skin.
Therefore, the only method of preserving youth is to sleep on your back and on a properly selected pillow, she assures.
According to her, the pillow should be chosen depending on the body composition and the hardness of the mattress. On average, the height of the pillow can be 8-10 centimeters. Ideally, it should follow the physiological curves of the neck and not lose its shape overnight.
