As of July 2024, the average old-age pension for employed citizens was 18.6 thousand rubles, and for the unemployed – 23.4 thousand, according to statistics from the Social Fund, which Izvestia studied. Accordingly, the gap between payments was at the level of 4.8 thousand. Over six months, this figure decreased by almost 17%, from 5.6 thousand rubles.
