The mayor of Buzuluk commented on the collapse of the ceiling in a city school

Mayor of Buzuluk Vladimir Peskov commented on reports of the alleged collapse of the ceiling at school No. 13. According to him, workers specifically carried out work to remove plaster and pieces of cement from the ceiling during the autumn holidays, when there were no children in the building.

In response to information about the collapse of the ceiling at school No. 13, the mayor published an official comment on this matter. Vladimir Peskov claims that previously published photographs do not reflect the real situation: workers deliberately cleared the ceiling of plaster and cement during the autumn holidays in order to prevent possible incidents, given that there were no students at the school at that time.

“The collapse of a potentially dangerous section of the ceiling in one of the corridors on the ground floor, as well as in the handwashing room, was specially carried out by workers during the autumn holidays and weekends when children were not in the building. This was done in order to eliminate possible incidents during during the educational process, such as the collapse of plaster from the ceiling,” said the head of Buzuluk.

Previously, photographs allegedly depicting collapsed ceiling tiles were published in the Buzuluk VKurse TG channel.
