The Novosibirsk regional court ordered the Ministry of Internal Affairs Novosibirsk pay 40 thousand rubles for the inaction of his employees in relation to a local resident. This is reported by NGS.ru.

According to the publication, employees of the GAPP-9 impound lot illegally detained a Toyota Caldina car belonging to a man. The police who arrived at the scene did not take any action to help the victim and did not carry out the necessary checks on his application. As a result of the inaction of the employees, the man was unable to use the car for several days.

The regional court decided that the police should have influenced the parking lot workers and declared their inaction illegal. The Ministry of Internal Affairs will reimburse the victim for the costs of a lawyer.
