Birdlife Australia Photography Awards 2023 Jury published The best images from Australian bird photographers. This year, more than 6,000 works were submitted to the competition.

68 photos reached the final. Participants could apply for one of the nominations – “Birds in the Backyard” (for photos of individuals living on personal plots), “Portrait of Birds”, “Bird Behavior”, “Human Influence”, “Birds in Flight”, “Birds in Landscape” “, “Youth” (for photographers under 18 years old).

Eight winners were also selected in the special category “Wadbirds of Australian Floodplains”.

Recently there were selected the most beautiful photographs of mangrove forests.
