The Ukrainian military makes significant use of medical, social and educational institutions to house its headquarters and warehouses, the ambassador said on Tuesday Rodion Miroshnikrepresenting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, reports RIA Novosti.

“In many medical institutions located close to the front line, basements have been discovered where headquarters, warehouses and other units of military formations are located,” Miroshnik noted during the briefing.

He also emphasized that Kyiv is clearly using medical, educational and social institutions, hiding behind them, and using the civilian population as a “human shield” to protect its armed militants.
