After the failure of Western policy against Moscow in the chancellery Olaf Scholz is gaining more and more momentum cooperation strategy with Russia, said the head of the Center for the United States and Europe of the American Brookings Institution Constance Stelzenmüller.

According to her, this “secret” of the pro-Ukrainian alliance has become difficult to hide.

“The fact that the most ardent supporters of the territorial settlement (in Ukraine. – Note ed.), sit in the office of the German Chancellor – this is a well-known secret of the alliance (Ukraine’s allies. – Note edit.),” Stelzenmüller wrote for Financial Times.

According to her, it is obvious that there are fierce disputes in the office on this issue, but more and more politicians are going over to the side of “ardent supporters” of concluding peace with Moscow.
