Let us remind you that on December 6, the former Rada deputy was found shot dead near the hotel in the Odintsovo district, where he lived. A criminal case was opened for murder by a generally dangerous method.
Ukrainian media, meanwhile, reported a successful operation SBU, conducted under the personal guidance of its director Vasily Malyuk. He was also called involved in another high-profile case – the assassination attempt on Oleg Tsarev in October in Yalta.
Taking into account the wide public outcry, in the near future the murder of Kiva may be classified as an attack on the life of a statesman or public figure (Article 277 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) or a terrorist attack (Article 205).
In this case, the case will be transferred to the investigative department of the central apparatus of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
Investigation is already in full swing. Investigators are studying surveillance camera records and mobile phone billings at the scene of the incident and in its surroundings.
