Head of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov arrived in New York for the 78th session UN General Assemblyreported the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Russian representative has more than 20 meetings planned, including a conversation with the Secretary General of the organization Antonio Guterres.

At the UNGA itself, Lavrov will speak on September 23.

“The Russian Foreign Minister will take part in a number of multilateral events, including through UN Security Council, BRICS, CSTO and Group of Friends for the Defense of the UN Charter. Events are also planned through the SCO“, the Foreign Ministry reported.
