The event began at 10 o’clock on the Kremlin Square in Vologda, where the “Orthodox Vologda” fair is also open. Guests will be able to try monastery bread, cellar salad, “oat shti with meat”, “onion salt”, “kulybash”, salmon stew with turnips, pea jelly with flaxseed oil, mushroom soup with nettles and other dishes. There will be concerts of bell ringing and the orchestra of Russian folk instruments “Perezvony”. The festival is organized as part of the large-scale gubernatorial project “Summer of the Russian North”.
