“On the morning of November 22 in Iraq, Central Command forces carried out covert and precision strikes on two targets in Iraq. These strikes were in direct response to attacks against U.S. and coalition forces by Iran and Iranian-backed groups,” the release said.
A day earlier, according to Pentagon, militants used a short-range ballistic missile to attack an American air base in Iraq. The group of rocket launchers was almost immediately struck by an air strike.
