The victory of a girl from Nicaragua in the Miss Universe contest can hardly be called unfair, reported EADaily plastic surgeon Madina Bayramukova.

However, after looking at her photographs, it can be assumed that the winner of the competition had a nose operation and lip volume correction, the doctor noted.

“The results of the Miss Universe competition pleased me, given that recently non-standard participants are increasingly winning at such events. Speaking about the victory of the girl from Nicaragua, I cannot say that it was an unfair victory. However, as a plastic surgeon, I can assume that the new Miss Universe underwent nose surgery and lip volume correction,” Bayramukova said.

The surgeon responded positively to the fact that the organizers of such competitions stopped supporting the trend towards excessive thinness. According to her, previously this trend had reached unprecedented heights, which led to a “real epidemic” of anorexia.

“Everything must have a golden mean. Likewise, we should not forget that curvaceous figures at a certain moment give way to fullness and obesity. In addition to the aesthetic component, this is also harmful to health. The winner of the competition has a normal, athletic figure, which serves as an example for many girls all over the world,” the expert concluded.
