The publication notes that, according to a fresh poll conducted by ABC, The Washington Post and Ipsos, Harris is ahead of Trump in terms of support among Americans by 5 percent. 50 percent of respondents are ready to vote for her, while 45 percent are ready to vote for the Republican. In four of the swing states – Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania – Harris is ahead of Trump by at least 4 percentage points. This could be a decisive factor in favor of the Democratic candidate in the election, even if she loses in other swing states, Politico writes.
