On the night of September 18, attackers set fire to a structure in the shape of the letter Z on the territory of Belgorod, follows from the mayor’s statement Valentina Demidova.

According to him, the moment of the fire was caught on video. The corresponding recording was transferred to the police for further investigative and search activities.
“Tonight at 00:29, unknown persons set fire to the “Z” structure installed near Vatutina Avenue,” Demidov noted in the Telegram channel.
Judging by the recordings from the cameras, concerned citizens stopped next to the structure and tried to stop the spread of the fire before the arrival of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The mayor of Belgorod thanked citizens for their help. He also promised to restore the structure.
Previously on an office building in Belgorod drone crashed. There was no detonation, but the UAV itself caught fire, causing damage to the roof, boiler room and two cars.
