“Someone from the crew was shouting through a megaphone for people to walk in the sun, along the rows of corn. Mom lost her shoe, she hit something while we were flying down the ramp. So she ran barefoot across this field. The corn stalks were very high, it was unclear where to go. Some were crying, some were in a state of shock, at that moment there was no understanding of what had happened. But people still helped each other,” Eric recalls.
