Laurent Vinatier is accused of committing a crime under Part 3 of Article 330.1 of the Russian Criminal Code (evasion of duties stipulated by the Russian legislation on foreign agents). He is an employee of the Swiss non-governmental non-profit organization, the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue, and was detained in Moscow in early June. As reported at the time, FSBhe collected military information in Russia that could be used to the detriment of security.
