Due to a new round of rate hikes in August, deposit yields are now at the same levels as in the spring of 2022, when the key rate was at a historically high level of 20%. As Izvestia wrote at the time, the average maximum rate on deposits at ten banks that attract the largest volume of individual deposits in rubles was 18.58% at the end of the third ten-day period of March.
