what is possible and what is not

Of course, after removal of the gallbladder, it is very important for a person to follow a diet. To avoid adverse consequences after surgery, it is necessary to adjust the diet. As the Honored Doctor of Russia, Professor, Chief Physician of the State Clinical Hospital named after A.N. told Pravda.Ru readers. V. V. Vinogradova Olga Sharapova.

Diet after gallbladder removal

Nutrition after removal of the gallbladder should be very gentle. Doctors recommend that patients eat thermally processed food – boiled or steamed. It is important to eat 5-6 times a day and eat only in small portions. And it is advisable to do this at the same time.

In addition, the food should not be too hot and not too cold. You also need to chew it thoroughly and, of course, not overeat.

“I advise you to include fermented milk probiotics in your diet. It is best to use them in the evening, but no later than two to three hours before bedtime. I also advise you to drink 1.5 – 2 liters of water a day,” the doctor notes.

There is no need to be afraid of such a diet. A person will not remain hungry, because after such an operation a huge amount of food is allowed. The diet may include:

  • unrich vegetable and meat soups,
  • ear,
  • Cereal soups cooked in vegetable broth are also allowed.

You can eat beetroot soup, vegetarian borscht, and milk soups, for example, with pasta. It is important to remember one thing: it is forbidden to fry vegetables to prepare the dressing. And meat and poultry should be lean. The following types of meat are allowed:

  • beef,
  • rabbit,
  • skinless chicken,
  • turkey.

Fish should also be lean. It can be boiled, steamed or baked.

As for cereals, oatmeal and buckwheat have a very beneficial effect on the body. Fruits and berries are also allowed, but it is important that they are not sour. You can include dried fruits in your diet. You can eat different vegetables; they are allowed to be eaten both raw and boiled or boiled. You can eat non-acidic sauerkraut.

As for bread, it is also allowed during the diet. The bread should be wheat from grades 1 and 2 flour, and rye bread from sifted flour. And if you love sweets, you can treat yourself to honey, marshmallows or jam. But it is recommended to replace sugar with sorbitol.
