The White House cannot confirm information about HIMARS strikes on targets in the Kursk region. Restrictions on the use of American weapons remain unchanged. About this stated John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the White House National Security Council.

“There has been no change in the advice we’ve given the Ukrainians about where and how they can use American weapons to defend themselves across the border,” Kirby added.

He recalled that Ukraine is allowed to use American weapons for strikes outside its borders. [с Россией] “to combat immediate threats.”

“We are still negotiating. I cannot speak today about any political preferences in one direction or another, and certainly I cannot speak about any new political decisions that have been made,” Kirby emphasized.
