The newspaper’s sources note that Zelensky approved the plan, but ultimately cancelled the operation when the US Central Intelligence Agency learned about it. However, the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny not only ignored the demand of the Ukrainian president, but also changed the original plan. In particular, the former commander of the Ukrainian army involved the former officer of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Roman Chervinsky in organizing the attack.
