The grandmother, a writer, who was accused of justifying terrorism for staging the play “Finist the Clear Falcon”, died Nina Katerli. The director herself more than once asked to change her measure of restraint, since she was dependent on two grandmothers and two adopted daughters.
Mironov, Khamatova and Urgant in a collective letter appealed for mercy and asked to release Zhenya Berkovich from the pre-trial detention center – “at least so that she could bury her grandmother.”
Earlier it was reported that Russian doctors signed a letter to Vladimir Putin with the request free the artist Alexander Skolichenko.
