“I just received a message from Donetsk that my good friend, choreographer, director and teacher Polina Menshikh died in artillery shelling during a performance,” actor Denis Lavrentyev wrote on the VKontakte social network.

The theater-studio “Portal” also announced the death of the actress, noting that the future production of the fantasy musical “The Last Test” will be dedicated to the memory of the Lesser Ones.

“On November 19, as a result of artillery shelling on the territory of the DPR, our Polina died during a speech to military personnel,” says a message from Menshikh’s colleague Anastasia Tsypenko.

Polina Menshikh was the permanent director of the Lege Artis and Nezhen theaters, as well as the production director of The Last Test. Among the performances she staged are “Road to Berlin”, “Dance Forever”, “Dream on Ivan Kupala” and many other works.
