Official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova reacted to success songs Kati Lel “My Marmalade” on the Spotify World Chart.

“It sounds like a slap in the face to the ‘cancelers’ of Russia,” Zakharova said in her Telegram channel.

A representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that the song reached first place on the chart, even in a country that closed its borders to Russia and Finland. She emphasized that the success of the song is associated with the talent of its author, Maxim Fadeeva, and claims that his songs will be listened to regardless of political attitudes.

“Everyone who is planning to cancel us next time will try our jaga-jaga,” Maria concluded.
