Others believe that this steering wheel position is safer. Experts from the njcar.ru portal name three reasons why it is strongly not recommended to leave a car with its wheels turned out in the parking lot, especially in winter.

Some drivers feel that if they turn the wheels, their car will not be towed. However, this is a misconception. Nowadays, manipulators are widely used on the streets, which lift vehicles by all four wheels. Thus, attempting to use such tactics will not produce the desired results.

Leaving the wheels in the turned position causes difficulties for other drivers. They may not have enough space when leaving, for example, a parking lot, since the wheels sometimes take up additional critical space. This can be especially problematic during heavy traffic and narrow roads.
