Buckwheat with cabbage – a simple dish that will be an excellent option for dinner. The Telegram channel “Tastier than mother-in-law’s. Recipes for every day” shared the recipe.

Ingredients: buckwheat (140g), white cabbage (250g), onion (80g), carrots (90g), garlic (5g), vegetable oil (30ml), bay leaf (1 pc), water (300ml), ground paprika (0.5 tsp), salt, pepper to taste. —
Preparation:
1. Boil water, peel the onion and cut it into cubes. Fry in vegetable oil, stirring for about 2-3 minutes.
2. Cut the carrots into cubes. Chop the garlic. Add both vegetables to the onion, fry for another 3-4 minutes.
3. Cut the cabbage into thin strips and simmer along with the vegetables in a frying pan.
4. Add spices, salt, pepper. Stir.
5. Cook for about five minutes over moderate heat, stirring occasionally.
5. Rinse the buckwheat and add to the vegetables. Add bay leaf. You will need 300 ml of hot water, it needs to be added to the buckwheat. Cook for 20-25 minutes.
